1. Measure diameter
Use calipers across the relevant mating or threaded section. Add annotated photographs for the M15, M17 and KS M18 families here.

Identify your connector
Do not identify a connector from voltage alone. Compare the physical interface before ordering an adapter.
2. Measure pin spacing
Measure centre-to-centre spacing and pin diameter. Record whether the contacts are male or female.
3. Check keying
Look for flats, slots, notches, ribs or other polarising features. Similar diameters do not necessarily mean compatible connectors.
Known connector families
